Jenny Cox, DPT

Born and raised in San Jose, California, Jenny got her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at Chapman University and continued her education obtaining a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. During one of her clinical rotations while at USC, she worked at Renown in Reno which sparked her love for this area.

After working throughout Southern and Northern California in a variety of settings including pediatric, aquatic, orthopedic, geriatric and pain management, she recently made the move to the Reno area. She is excited to continue to explore the outdoors with her husband and two dogs.

Jenny was drawn to Nevada Advanced Pain Specialists due to their holistic approach to healing. She brings experience with a variety of techniques including Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques and Soft Tissue Mobilizations as well as her ability to progress exercises that will benefit the patient to achieve mobility, stability and function. Jenny also has experiences with balance and vestibular impairments and has interest in getting certified in Pilates for rehabilitation. Jenny looks forward to continuing to learn and grow in a supportive environment while continuing to provide patient centered care that addresses the whole person.
