Kristen Bowman, APRN
Nurse Practitioner
Kristen is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada Reno in 2008, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She became a Family Nurse Practitioner and achieved her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2012.
Kristen has worked as a Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner in Northern Nevada and Northern California for the past nine years. After graduation from UNLV, she worked at various medical facilities as an oncology or hematology Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Society.
A Reno native, Kristen is an outdoor lover who enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and relaxing by beautiful Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River. When she’s not enjoying the outdoors, she loves to snuggle with her shih tzu, Lola, spend time with her friends and family and travel the world.
She is very excited to help patients find the cause of their pain and help relieve their pain.

Your pain will be evaluated with latest diagnostic tools and technologies used by the professionals at Nevada Advanced Pain Specialists to make accurate assessments including: EMG/Nerve testing, MRIs, x-rays, bone scans, and diagnostic pain injections.
